Assalamualaikum dears.
Looks like am doing well with the
posts eyh. There’s small trick to this consistence posts. For now I’ll keep it
to myself first. Hahaha.
*sapa nak tahu say
I… haha
We are going to Segamat for relative’s wedding tomorrow.
Hubs is arriving tomorrow morning too. 4 days of single mom title is ending.
Suddenly I feel the urgency to tidy the house to no speck of
dust around. Of course of course, this is more to a dream yet to come true… haha
But hey, I did a little cleaning this morning. Definely
growing up a little muscle on my right biceps…haha.
I hoovered, mopped, dusted the house with little helper
#broAm. Yesterday I cleaned up all the ceiling fans. #broAM helped by climbing
up the ladder step. Just one step. Almost throughout the process I kept on
chanting “get down, dangerous”, “Mujahid, don’t climb”, “Mujahid give way, mama
is coming down” and etc. hahaha, I sweat a lot because of those chantings je. Looking good in achieving my #azamkurus
it seems. :D
Righto, play dough recipe as promised. Before that, I get
this recipe from FB. India comfort FB to be exact. I tweaked it according to
what we have in Malaysia.
Homemade playdough
1 cup flour (I buy the cheapest in the market)
2tbsp sunflower oil (other kind of oil is okay too)
3tsp vinegar
¼ cup fine grain salt
1 cup hot water
A cap of edible coloring
*Add all (except colouring) in non stick pot. Heat and stir
till lumpy and thick. Around 5 mins medium fire.
*transfer to a bowl. Knead till dough texture is nice and
soft. You may rub oil on your hand a
bit.
*Make a hole in the middle of the dough. Pour colour. Knead more
till colour is even.
*Add more colour if you want it to be more vibrant
CAUTION: Dough is hot in the initial stage of kneading. I
use spatula to help with the kneading.
I tripled up the ingredients in a batch and divided it to 3 balls during the colouring stage. Do we call that malas
or bijak?
I know I am a smart mom. Hahaha, what about you?
Good quote of the day:
‘ hot supermoms knead
hot #homemade #playdough and remain strong till the end of process’
Do share this in your FB and to other supermoms you know.
Well, I call that spread the supermom positivity. Hehe :P

Atul
